Congrats on your achievement! What population do you want to work for specifically. I work in the field of geriatrics and absolutely love it. There are some really great opportunities at Skilled Nursing Facilities and Assisted Living Communities. If you are interested in a position where you are a charge nurse and you have managerial responsibilties as well as clinical responsibilites that is the position for you. I have a friend who just got a position at Silverado Senior Living. She works with individuals with dementia. She thinks it is a wonderful company to work for. You may want to start there. I think she is making $20 an hour. Good Luck in your job search and remember the hospitals that are offering the highest referral bonuses have to do so for a reason. You may want to think twice and make sure the money is really worth it.
