  1. You're welcome! My name is Deborah and I totally understand what you mean when you said you need to get your schedule b/c you have a full-time job. I'm right there with you on that one and with 2 young kids it's more of a schedule and time conflict but it's necessary. Well, I'll be meeting you soon.
  2. I got my letter today and the classes don't start until the 24th but the "boot camp" is the 17th. Everything we will do will be on Tuesdays. The letter gives you everything that you have to do in order to register for classes.
  3. I called the Lee campus on Monday to see if I could pick up whatever it was that we are geting and I was told that there is a new Day Coordinator this year and that the letters are waiting for a date from her for "boot camp" and that they should get sent out this week. I was also told that the letter is basically an acceptance letter that we sign and send back for the program and that they hold the spot in the classes so that it's not a problem if we get closer to the start of the semester and haven't gotten anything.
  4. They may have just not been able to get in touch with everyone one the list on Friday. Congrats rprado! I know when they called me it came up an unknown phone number and I almost didn't answer. Thank God I did.
  5. jlchambers13 i was accepted into the lee campus and the 2 classes we have to take for the summer semester will be on tuesdays from 930am to 230pm i think. i don't really remember if the times are acurate. i got the call on friday and she said i would get a letter in the mail with more instructions so you will as well. congrats!
  6. Congrats to you patricia0809 for getting into Charlotte campus! Don't give up hope rprado.
  7. Looks like we will be classmates.
  8. Got the call this morning! Lee campus! Can't wait!
  9. Which campus did you apply to?
  10. Thanks. That answers alot. i'm applying to Lee so it helps to know that I will be all over Lee county. Not that I want to drive all over the place but it is worth it.
  11. Do you have to rotate hospitals for the clinicals or do you normally just stay in your general area? Like you are at the Collier campus, do you only do clinicals in Collier county or do you have to go to Healthpark or Charlotte county to do clinicals?
  12. Thanks for posting. It's good to know the kind of schedule that I may have so that I will still be able to work.
  13. Hopefully, they do it like last year. People were getting calls a week and a half after the deadline.
  14. Well, then we all have until the 14th. Another long wait.
  15. That's for the Lee campus though so that's probably why they wouldn't tell you anything. I've gotten to know her so she gave me a little info.
  16. Plus Michelle the proctor of the hesi told me that if I didn't hear anything by the 14th to give her a call.
  17. I'm just assuming Wednesday so that I put less time on the wait. They wouldn't tell me anything even if I called. Last fall they called the people that were accepted so I just assume that they do the same thing for the summer. I really don't know because last years postings only had one person post that they got in and they wrote that they got an acceptance letter. So I don't really know, I'm just progecting hope.
  18. Now is the long and grueling wait for that infamous phone call. Hopefully they don't wait the entire 2 weeks to call potential candidates. Hopefully, by next week Wednesday I'll get my phone call.
  19. Good luck tonight! They have changed the point system for this year. They took 10 points from the hesi and gave it to the classes b/c they added nutrition. Total points you have 61.
  20. You are welcome! Plus, if you have the score wrong they confirm it with your transcripts anyway, but it's good for you to know what you have before hand. Good luck!
  21. The 30 points are for all the 9 classes.
  22. Take each class that you have, however many credits each are worth, multiply that times the weight of an A(4), B(3), C(2). If your microbio class was 4 credits then you should have a total of 30 credits for what you have taken. The points you get after multiplying, divide them by the 30 points to get your gpa.
  23. The Hesi doesn't have a built in calculator, they give one to you when you check in to take it. I went to an orientation meeting in December and they said that the cutoff for last year (think it was for fall) was 88-Lee, 78-Charlotte, and 82-Collier. Those figures may not be completely correct just b/c you never know what people will have for points at the time of admission.
  24. That info is correct! They added another class to take some points away from the Hesi so that it isn't worth 50% of your score. However, if you have all the class and you can take the Hesi 2x a year (between Jan. and Dec) go for getting the best possible score that you can on it b/c it will either get you in or it won't.
  25. The test score is still good for 2 years, but if you ever want to do better you can.
