So I finally heard back, and unfortunately I was not accepted this year. Calling to discuss with admissions soon. I know I was rushed when I submitted, and there are things that I can definitely improve upon for my application next year . Good luck this year everyone and I'm sure I'll see you around next year!

Another day, another empty P.O. box. Every day I am telling myself as I walk into the post office 'it's going to be there, you know it is. It's finally here, today is the day!'. And then on my way out of the post office 'I told you it wouldn't be there today'. My pessimistic side seems to be winning today . Oh well. In the words of the great man himself "Today is gone. Today was fun. Tomorrow is another one." (Thanks Dr. Seuss!).

And another day with an empty mailbox :/. I do plan on working, at least part time. I've worked through my entire education; I think I would feel weird if I didn't work.

And another week of anxiously waiting begins :). Congrats to everyone who has heard back!!

I will be living in Mayport (I know it's not as far as Miami!!) and have no concerns about the distance. Now if I could just get a letter....:) I'm applying for CNM, and I know that was the last program to have decisions made so I just have to keep waiting!

I'm starting to have palpitations every time I walk close to my mailbox....

As long as you have passed your boards by October you can apply. If you don't pass at that point I'm assuming you have to drop. I will also graduate from my BSN program in August and applied for CNM.

Any updates today? The hours are weird for me since I'm in Japan...I can't tell at a glance if a post was during the day or evening in the States!

My understanding is that we should have results by the end of the month. I really hope I didn't misunderstand :/

He will be stationed at Mayport, which is about 30 minutes or so from Jacksonville. Since we don't know what exactly is going to be happening with school for me, we haven't decided exactly where we want to live. The primary mode of teaching is online, so if I have to drive a distance for some classes or clinicals, I am ok with that. It can take anywhere from a few days to months to get things in the mail here. It depends on who the mail is sent through (UPS takes forever!). At least I will see on here if people start getting notices :) Then I know to start haunting the post office.

I'm starting to get really apprehensive ;/. I am currently living overseas with my active duty spouse; our plan had been to move to FL in the fall (Sept ish?) but obviously if I am starting school in late August I need to move sooner. It takes about three months to get our household goods from where we are to the States...this is not leaving me very much time to plan and organize!! Not to mention we still need to find a place to live and get our daughter settled in school (she starts Kindergarten this year). The not knowing is driving me nuts!

Anyone else struggling to not panic?! I'm in Japan, and we are supposed to be moving this summer. Our original plan had been to move in October, but if I am starting school in August, obviously I need to get my rear in gear and get my stuff moving! Fingers crossed for this week....
