Sorry for my irevelant question about the cars. I am 17 and I will be starting nursing school later this year and I really just wanted to know what they do at work. Umm, also I was not being sexist but I do know females do this job more so I just wanted to know if the males did the same thing. Sorry about before.

I seriously accept everyone comments and I will go on. I'm very sorry for some of those who took this the wrong way. I did not try to play a "race card" or anything like that. I was just really curious about what goes on in nursing. I am only on my prerequisite courses and no hands on training yet. I feel good for many positive answers but I feel bad because some of you thought I was trying to start drama. Thanks anyway and I will contine to follow my plans to become an RN. :/ :)

Hey everyone! After I get my BSN I plan to get my MSN to become a nurse practioner or higher. Can anyone please tell me what work in like in that area? I would also like to know a salary for a nurse practioner if anyone is willing to tell. I know this may be irrelevant but what kind of car do most high paid nurses drive? I am greatful for all the info I get! :)

Why did you feel weird during your OB rotation?

Hey everyone. I will be training to become an RN soon. I am an african american. I have read some articles and a few of them scared me about being a nurse just because your a guy. They say its more of a womans job but those were based on opinion. Can someone please tell me of male nurses are common today? Thank you.

Well I thank you all for all of your replies. Most of it makes sence to me. I will start with my AA in Nursing and then get my BSN from there then probably move on the the masters to become a nurse practioner or a Nurse Anesthetist.

Whuch places give you a well base salary?

I would like to know that starting Salary for starter Nurses with a BSN. If you can tell me more beyond the BNS that would be very helpful! Thanks!
