I am interested in the DNP program at UAB. For any current students or alumni, please share your thoughts on the delivery format of the program. Are there any live or recorded lectures? Are traditional power point presentations or voice-over power point presentations used? Are there any group projects or discussion board assignments? What is/was your overall impression of the current program?

I finally received my letter yesterday. I actually received an email a few days ago about housing options before I received my decision letter. The email started with, "Congratulations." My decision letter offered me a seamless transition into the DNP program without the need for application into the DNP program. Did anyone else receive this offer? What are your thoughts about the DNP program? I am so excited about having the opportunity to attend Vanderbilt! I hopefully will have the chance to meet you all. My letter said that student orientation is August 23-24. I wonder if that is for all specialties? At any rate, Congratulations to all!

I don't remember her name. After she told me I had been admitted, I went to my happy place... Lol! I do remember her being extremely nice and helpful. Good luck when you make the call. Let us know the results.

I had been watching the mail every day. The wait was killing me. I called the admission office on Friday and they were able to tell me their decision... I was accepted into the Direct Entry ANP/GNP program. The person I spoke to in admissions made me think that letters haven't been mailed yet. I guess they will mail them when they get back from Spring Break? To those of you have already been accepted, Congratulations! To those of you still waiting, Good Luck! Cheers, Excited in TN
