I am just curious if any nurses have obtained Australian registration from overeas, and if so, how long did it take to get? I sent my application in the last week of October 2010,from Canada, and I have not obtained it yet. When I email the AHPRA they send me a generic email saying that "I will be notified my mail if there are any issues during the registration process" and when I phoned, I was told they could not give me a timeline of how long I can expect it to take. its been over 4 months, Im hoping I wont have to wait much longer Thanks

Im just curious if you've gotten your registration yet? or heard anything about it? I applied in October, from Canada, and I havent gotten mine yet. I had heard 90 days. When I email the AHPRA they send me a reply saying they've received my paperwork and will contact me if there are any problems throughout the registration process, but won't give me any further information.
