Yes correct hospitals did get rid of using lpns but longterm care facilities, rehabs, and subacute centers, all still use lpns and they run those places I live in south new jersey I work in LTC/Rehab I make 28.50 I just started two weeks ago LPNs arent going anywhere in nsg facilities

$24 thru $28 DOLLARS an HR for LPN'S also here in South New Jersey some states give LPN's CNA pay glad I live in NJ:lol2:

I went to lincoln tech in Mt Laurel, NJ . The cost varies each year so you admission can assist you with prices. I think the school is what it is for a fast track program. Alot of people cant handle programs like these and blame the school for not being efficient. you have to focus, let go of any social life, in order to pass this course. I passed, go for it

Yes ive been applying to places that said experience only went on two interviews and they said we would love to hire you unfortunately we are currently looking for experienced nurses. Well my friend gave her DON my resume and hopefully I will grt hired there for weekends I will take anything at this point. Its been a year now geesh student loans recently got deferred so thats good. Thanks for the support. I feel much better today and I will not give up on my job search:nurse:

Hello, Everyone I am a New Graduate Practical Nurse and cannot find a job in southern NJ that hires new grads. Everywhere I went to apply specifically LTC facilities, requires you to have at least one year nursing experience. I dont understand how I can gain experience if no one is willing to give me a chance. Do anyone know who is hiring new grads in the camden county, gloucester county area? I am really getting depressed and stressed over this, I am considering going back to school for something else.

That trick really does work you passed congrats:yeah:, you will not be able to re-register to take the exam if you passed the computer wont allow it. It will say our records indicate you have recently took this exam.

There questions are not similar to nclex no questions are, but I can say there questions are harder than nclex. So if you are getting a 60% or higher using kaplan exam mode then you are ready to take the test. Kaplan is the best advice I can give you, you will succeed:lol2: the exam cram book is good also for knowledge based questions I can add. Also do not use the tutor mode that is false reassurance, that mode will not help, always use exam mode, and most importantly look at all your rationales. Try to do at least 100 questions daily. I did 200, by doing 100 in the morning and 100 at night. Passed after only three weeks at 85 questions. You will be fine as long as you do as many nclex style questions as you possibly can. GOOD LUCK, AND PRAY GOD IS GREAT:heartbeat I got a 70 on my assessment to you are on the right track, but on some of my practice test they ranged from 58% to 80% and I still passed. I finally passed my nclex pn boards on the second try 2011, and it was hard but I remained focused. First of all I graduated in 2009, and took my boards for the first time in 2010, I know I waited to long. My reason being is I had a complicated pregnancy. But anyhow my first attempt I studied using saunders 2010 edition and that didnt work for me because I failed. So then I decided to give kaplan a try, along with using saunders review CD at application level only. I studied for three weeks and passed at 85 questions yahhhh, so excited. Kaplan questions and review book really was the key to my success on the exam, along with prayer. Kaplan Qbank questions are harder, difficult questions this is why I really believe I passed. The key is to do as many questions possible and reviewing the rationales and you will succeed, plus having faith in the lord. GOOD LUCK TO ALL MY PN STUDENTS:up:
