  1. When did this change? I got licensed and livescan fingerprinted in 2013 and have renewed 3 times since then with no issue. I’m due to renew April 2020 and when reading the FAQ I saw the same thing about before 2014 so that includes me. Why now?
  2. Alright cohort 1....tomorrow is the big day!!! See you all in the AM! Can't believe it's finally here!!!
  3. You sign the contract the same day as your physical...you have an HR appt one hour prior to your physical appt
  4. It's when you go onto the Pearson Vue website and try up reregister for the NCLEX after taking it. The "good pop up" is when a pop up comes up saying you cannot register at this time meaning you passed. If it lets you get to the credit card screen then that means you didn't pass
  5. Everyone should come back and post after they get their official results!
  6. Yeah just call back a lot without any messages. That's what I did and I got hired too. They called on a Friday at 3:30p and I thought the same thing about not wanting to go through the weekend not talking to them. Good luck!
  7. When the last app for cohort 3 went up there was no info of a cohort 4, so I'm not sure if they will still have one, but this was the original info included when they put up the info for cohort 1... -Cohort #4: September 30, 2013 – application date July 24, 2013 License needed by August 15, 2013
  8. I had my physical yesterday (done at Cedars) and signed my contract and we still don't know what unit we are assigned. They said we would find out during orientation. Also as an FYI they make you do a TB test so you'll need to go back 48hrs later after your physical appt to have it read. And they require a 2-step TB test so it needs to be repeated in a week unless you've had a TB done within the last year they will accept that. Just a heads up for those of you relocating.
  9. No joke, EVERYONE in my cohort passed it with 75 except for me and another one who got 142 so I know what you feel like but I ended up passing. I couldn't stop crying for 2 days straight because I was so sure I failed. It felt like I was actually guessing the answers by the end! Stay positive. I did the trick and according to that I passed but i was still a MESS until I knew for sure.
  10. Yes I got the offer on a Wednesday and then received the drug screen paperwork on Monday which has to be done within 3 business days of receiving the packet
  11. I think the holiday may be pushing it back and remember they weren't dealing with another cohort when we were interviewing. I just got my email today for my physical and to sign my contract etc so they have a lot on their plate this time around. I feel your pain though...waiting is the worst. Hopefully you all hear something soon
  12. Did you reapply for cohort 3?
  13. They called me about 3p. And yes they chose 25. My friend who interviewed for cohort 2 was told that 50 made it to the final open house and they were picking 25....so it's a 50/50 shot
  14. Like 20 minutes! Good luck to you all!!
  15. Registered Nurse I - New Grad Residency Program, Nursing Institute 15037
  16. I got called today to schedule my physical! Yay! Looks like the ball is rolling lol
  17. Me too! One of my friends already got her background check in the mail and I haven't gotten anything!
  18. I didn't because I couldn't remember my interviewer's name! She told me her name, but I was so nervous I forgot it completely lol
  19. At our 3rd open house there were about 80 who interviewed and 25 got selected for the program
  20. That's awesome news! I got hired at Cedars-Sinai for their new grad program starting in June. Good luck to you all!
