CSU Sacramento Spring 2012
this is the 62 point information. dear bsn candidates, admission decisions and complete evaluations will be emailed to all applicants after 5:00 p.m. today through tuesday, november 29. please remember to check all of your email folders (inbox, junk, and bulk).if you have not received your admission decision by 5:00 p.m., tuesday, november 29, please email me at------with adm in caps in the subject line; and if available an alternate email address.we regret we are not able to respond to email or phone calls at this time. we received 243 applications for 80 seats. the candidate ranked number 80 has 62 points. it is too early to determine what the final point cut off will be, but historically 2 to 5 students decline in a spring term. important! if you are a new transfer student admitted for the spring 2012 term, and you plan to reapply for admission to the fall 2012 clinical nursing program, you need to enroll in at least one course at sacramento stateduring the spring 2012 term, or reapply to the university for fall 2012 admission by november 30, 2011. second bachelor candidates—this does not apply to you! we appreciate your patience and are working extended hours to bring you news as quickly as possible! sincerely, ----- ------- california state university, sacramento school of nursing that's the word for word email update they sent out the day before sending out acceptance/rejection emails. it's about 1130..... everyone should have received something by now, and if not, hopefully your acceptance email just got lost. it does happen.

How much time did you take to study for the TEAS?
1 hour of study, but what really helped was not going in to the test hungover the 2nd time. lol. Instant 5 percent jump.

It was 3.3 pre/coreq GPA.... but with the competitiveness of the program you would pretty much need max optional criteria points and TEAs.

The lady at the advising session said 69 points for a spring semester should be good.

Anyone make it into nursing school with below a 3.0 GPA?
It's gonna really depend on the school. The community college system in Sacramento.... last I knew.... they did LPN slots on a random lottery. CSUS, Sac State. has a minimum pre-req/co-req GPA requirement of 3.3. @ 3.3 & and assuming full points on optional criteria and a 97.5% score on the TEAs, the person could have barely squeeked by the 58 point wait list alternate cutoff.

I thought the same thing. What's the maximum threshold for income? I couldn't find it anywhere. Im going off of how much financial aid I got..... which isn't much.only like a thousand of free money. Im almost out of unemployment, so hopefully they consider that.

Sac State Spring 2012 applicants
I should be getting 69 points..... 72 if they give me economic considerations. 90.7 TEAS and a 3.72 prereq GPA. I have a couple classes with repeats, but you are allowed to repeat each course once without penalty every 7 years.
