Took 275 Questions on the NCLEX
On my NCLEX June 5th, 2018, I got up to the 75th question and kept waiting for it to shut off... Then I got up to a hundred and it kept going... Then I got up to a hundred twenty and it kept going by the time it hit 150 I was so low I just knew that I had failed the exam... But it kept going... It did not shut off until it reached question number 265... Then it asked me if I would be willing to do a 30 minute survey on some new questions that they wanted to introduce into future NCLEX exams... I agreed to do it because I thought well... Maybe they're trying to see if I can answer any of these correctly? Or maybe they're trying to see what kind of a person I am even if I failed in my willing to help them perfect the NCLEX exam for future participants? It didn't matter I'd already been there almost 5 hours so I guess what's another 30 minutes? I went ahead and completed it to the best of my ability and it was weird because it was some highlighting and some other things that I never seen before... I left lower than whale crap and just know that I had failed... 48 hours later I logged on to the Pearson VUE website and it showed that I could actually pay for my an official quick results of the exam... My hands Shook and I logged out of the site immediately before checking... Because I knew that I had failed already and I knew emotionally I could not handle seeing the all-caps FAILED YOU BIG DUMMIE!!! Very much to my surprise when logging back on and paying my little measly $8 it showed my unofficial results as PASSED!!!! I was bawling like crazy because I knew that it was a mistake and then I hadn't actually passed... But I kept rubbing my eyes and looking again and the results stay the same: PASSED. WOOOOO HOOOOO!! í ½í¸‚ RN Vandy Cat!!!!! Lol... see? I made it and had to take 265 questions. Hang in there!! Keep the faith! You got this.

Baptist Health in LR AR LPN program?
Hello! I am an LPN and basically failed the BSN program @ UAMS.....and took my hours and sat for LPN. I am higher ranking than regular LPN b/c of my previous Bachelor in Liberal Arts (chem/Psych) and 90 hours accumulated towards my BSN. let me tell you something: due to medicare and insurance billing, the LPN jobs are being phased out!! UAMS is hiring Med Assistants in place of LPNs and ST Vincents says after July 1st of this year ZERO LPNs are allowed on the hospital floor......LPNS are still used in their Clinics, but no hospital LPNS. Baptist Hospital is same way. As a matter of Fact, Baptist Hospital wants ALL the Diploma and Associate RNS to complete the ONLINE RN to BSN program. (Speaking of online BSN; there is one Via UALR and another thru Arkansas Tech in Russellville)....which is I think about a year long course. So.........it's NO easy ride.......and you better NOT stop at your LPN or you are going to be VERY very VERY sorry! I am looking at the online programs from LPN to RN.........then it will be Online again for RN to BSN......so I am a LONG long LONG way away from my goal, but you know what? The higher the hill, the steeper the climb, the more satisfying the view from the top.....that's what I say! So good luck to you and you are getting this information from the INSIDE source...... Best wishes! Terry aka Vandycat~
