  1. Leader25's post in Anxious nurse emigrating from India asks what problems US nurses face was marked as the answer
I think it depends on what you consider "a problem"—something that is intolerable to one is paradise to another.
Floating[hospital] for example  in its best form should be only a like to like unit ,but not a favorite thing to do for a nurse in a unit. The nurse who loves change would be happy in a float TEAM ,going to different units of her specialty and certification..
Unions...some places have them and some are better than others , pay your dues and actively participate, ...watch and learn during negotiations, contract enforcement, what are your benefits and obligations as an employee in good standing, learn where the budget for nursing care goes.
If your English is heavily accented, take classes to improve .I say this with the utmost seriousness. Being understood is an important part of Professional nursing and communication with Medical staff, labs, techs, resp depts, families .I have sadly witnessed even doctors who can only  slur, whisper, squeak their information. Do not let this be you.
Hope this helps to give you a good start, best of luck to you.
