Sings&Shoots, I'm in the traditional program with you! My family left for vacation in Savannah yesterday, and my in-laws checked the mail for us today. They called my wife to let us know. Pretty anticlimactic way to find out, but I'll take it. Can't wait to get started! See you in August. Frank

Virginia, Sorry you didn't make it. I couldn't help but notice how good your GPA and TEAS were. Did you apply for both accelerated and traditional? Your stats were way better than mine and I made it into the traditional program. Just something to think about. Good luck to you.

I got an email for the interview invitation about two days before I got my letter. Did you hear that they sent out the letters yesterday or today?

I couldn't believe it either. I think you should definitely take that spot at west GA.

On a positive note, the interview went pretty well I think. When I asked if they had any doubts if I would succeed in the program they gave me the runaround about how its a process. They did say they would suggest me as a strong candidate, though. I guess school interviews are a bit different than what I'm used to.

Has anyone taken a resume to their interview? Did the interviewers ask for one, or pay much attention to it? I always take one to job interviews obviously, but I've never interviewed to get into school, so I'm not sure how to handle that. I guess it couldn't hurt... What do you all think?

Congrats Peachy and bmd13! I got invited to interview as well, but for the traditional program. Pretty excited! Did ya'll notice how many people were invited to interview for the accelerated program? There were 110 others invited to the traditional program interviews.

It must be really competitive this time. I looked at the thread from Fall 2010, and they got their letters way earlier than we are.

GAAAAAAHHH! The suspense is killing me.

When I spoke with her, she said we would receive a letter by April 1. So I assume they will send them out next week. The suspense is killing me. Especially going up against people with 3.96 GPAs.
