  1. honestly i just found a cross word that had pharmacology clues and i had to name the med that fit that clue. it really helped me recognize the significant things about those meds and then the ones i didn't know i looked up. great study tool. i would try to good a pharmacology cross word or something like that. make it a game and it make studying less tedious. :) good luck!
  2. YAY NOYESNO!!!!!!! I'm so proud of you!!! I can't wait to hear the official results!!!
  3. I did mostly just questions but I did do some content review in the areas I was weak in.
  4. Through my school I was given access to ATI which is a great program so I did some of their exams as well. but the majority of my studying was from Kaplan. They do a great job at preparing you!
  5. Now it's your turn!!! I'm rooting for you!!
  6. Omg i just checked and i'm a rn!!!!! Whoot whoot!!!
  7. Did you try the Qbank sample questions? If so I would recommend going and getting the Kaplan 2010-2011 book they have at the book store, (not the course book) they have a test in book and they have a cd-rom that has a practice test too. I hope this helps.
  8. Can some one please tell them to put my official results up yet? I'm going insane over here!! I will definitely pray for you Chillceb and Noyesno. Make sure you take the day before off. I went down to my testing center city got a hotel the night before and sat in the hotel hot tub and pool. Just relaxed. I ended up looking over some notes I took because I caved in but it was not any hard core studying. GOOD LUCK!!
  9. I actually got alot of pharm I would say around 6 questions or so. and about 4 or so SATA.
  10. I wont get discouraged yet... just wait until you get your official results. I know there are times when the PVT has been wrong. Lets hope this is the time it is. Good luck!
  11. lol not an RN yet, still waiting on official results... PVT could fail me ... :uhoh21: we'll see.
  12. Those sample tests really aren't different from the Qbank. They take alittle from each section. You will do great!! I just know it. Your scores are where they are supposed to be and and beyond. Good luck noyesno!
  13. LOL I'm not an RN yet. Its not official. Thank you for your support noyesno. I do think Kaplan was very helpful they really prepare you well. :)
  14. Yeah I just went and tried again and I got a good pop up so. I can't wait for it to say I passed Thank you all for your support.
  15. Well I took the exam and I got 77 questions... I thought the questions were really hard and I don't think I did well. I tried the pearson vue trick and I got "The candidate currently has an open registration for this exam. A new registration cannot be created at this time." which is completely different from the ones that your "supposed to get" so I'm freaking out. :crying2: now for the drive home...
  16. Yeah I figured it's a good olman lol Tomorrow is the big day... yup still nervous.
  17. OMG I take my test on Tuesday (the 8th) and you just really made my day. I was underneath the understanding you needed 65% plus on the Qbank. Here I am averaging around 60% and I was freaking out. Ahhh so much relief. Qt6 I got 56% and Qt7 I got 62%. I feel much better now. Thank you!!!!!!!!! Twinessa1:lol2::hug::yelclap:
  18. Thank you all for your advice. I took my question trainer 7 yesterday and got a 61% on it. Today is my last day studying so instead of focusing on repetative questions I am going to work on studying the stuff I am still struggling on. (lab values, pharmacology, immunizations, and misc. topics) I will definetely post if I get a good poop up or not. Today of course is the Super Bowl and my team is the Green and Gold. So that's where I'll be at tonight. You all said I have to have some fun and relax prior to my exam Thank you for all the Pharm info. I will be printing that and adding it to my notebook I have of random things I need to study for Tuesday. Wish me luck. Twinessa1
  19. I'm in the exact same boat as you. I take my exam on Tuesday and my scores are right around where yours are. I'm in the process of taking my Q7 I have the hardest time concentrating for 265 questions. I too am concerned that I should reschedule. I'm getting 58-65% on my Qbanks. I guess we'll just have to see where it goes. :uhoh21:
  20. I've been working on getting down my lab values. So far I have the basics done and a few of the medications. Practicing hundreds of questions. Its just all very overwhelming. I'm sure I'm driving all my friends and family crazy because I am so stressed out. I know I'm babbling. All I keep thinking is... it's to test minimal competency right? :) My school does have a very good pass rate for NCLEX but you just never know.
  21. I'm so scared. I take the NCLEX on Tuesday Feb. 8th and I've been practicing with Kaplan. I've been getting 59 to 65% as of recently. I am terrible at pharmacology. I'm really stressing out I guess. Everyone says, you'll do just fine. But as you all know this does nothing to reassure you that you'll indeed pass. Any last minute advice? :chair:
