I have an appointment this Friday to discuss the RN program and tour the site. I dont have a whole lot of info yet and am trying to find out all that I can prior to this appointment. I have 3 kids and will probably be trying to juggle the night schedule and work full time. But if I absolutely HAVE to, I will quit my job to dedicate everything to graduating. I have not been in school for 17 years now. I took a few English, Math and Psychology courses way back then but nothing that is still valid now. I am sure I will have to take pre req classes. at MCI the pre-req's are taken (for free, unless you fail them??) and THEN they decide if you get into the RN program? IF a pre req is not passed and I have to pay for it, does it cost more than taking it at a community college? Any info at all concerning the program, course load, cost, admission etc would be greatly appreciated.
