Washington Hospital FREMONT
Loma6685, Thank you for the information! With regard to the cases, were they difficult and did the managers ask you questions after presenting the case? I'm trying to bring everything that I have to the table and be as prepared as possible; however, med/surg is such a large area that requires a ton of information.

Washington Hospital FREMONT
I was recently selected for the second round of interviews with WA Hospital. Do you have any advice on how to prepare for the second round of interviews or even what to expect? I really want this position and I am trying to prepare as much as I can. Thank you in advance!

Washington Hospital FREMONT
Thank you for the information. Did all of the candidates have an opportunity to answer the clinical questions? Also, were the clinical questions difficult and did they include lab values? Lastly, what was rhe timeframe after the first and second interview for advancing forward? Thanks, again!

I've been selected for first round interviews for the 2011 program. Do you have any pointers or recommendations for preparation for the large interviews? Also, did the interviews include simulation or scenarios? Thanks for any help that you can provide!

Washington Hospital - Residency Program of Fremont, CA
Today, I was selected for a "large interview" with 5-6 individuals for the Washington Hospital residency program. I've never experienced a group interview, which concerns me. Does anyone have tips or pointers on how to prepare for this type of interview? Also, is it likely for a scenario/simulation to be conducted during this type of interview? Thanks, in advance!

2 New Grad Programs in Bay Area
You would have received a phone call from the new grad program in Modesto a couple of weeks ago if you were selected. Also, the HR director told me that if you precepted there, you have a higher likelihood of being granted a position. As far as the Washington Hospital, they are conducting interviews next week and the following week. They are currently notifying candidates via phone. Apparently, there will be "large interviews" conducted with 5-6 candidates interviewed at one time. There are 60 candidates being interviewed for the first round, and then for the second round, there will be 25-30 candidates interviewed together. Overall, they will be selecting 12 individuals for the residency program. Does anyone know of anyone that has gone through Washington's "large interview"? I'm curious as to how the interview will be conducted and whether or not a scenario/simulation will be included with the interview.
