Thanks! I pretty much have accepted the fact that I am screwed...and I have 4 months left...4 months of hell but I know I can do it.

Just last week my instructor was telling me I was one of her strongest students. It is no secret that most of us work hard to get where we are. If that is the case then how come the ones who do work so hard can't catch a break? I got sick late saturday evening and finally went to the Dr. on Monday. THE FLU! Well of course Monday was clinicals..just like every Wednesday and Friday. Dr gave me an excuse from school/work and instructed me to stay home, take meds, get better til Thursday(2-2-11). I inform my instructor of this and what does she do? Well she tells me over the phone that there is hardly anyway she can help me to make up my day missed, and that I need to contact my previous instructor to see if there are any make up days. She later emails me to inform me that I have been docked 5 points from my 100, due to incomptency, and if I so choose to be out Wednesday I will be docked an additional 10 points. UMM hello. I didn't make it where I am today being incompetent. SO tell me this... Is it wrong that I abide by my Drs order and stay home to get better? or Should I go to clinicals and jeapordize the health of those already compromised?? Thank you so much. I am livid. I need guidance on what to do.
