  1. I know it may not be what you want to hear but here in Miami many hospitals are getting away from using LPN's. There is a pretty good job market though here in Miami.
  2. Thanks, well, I got some information from my Kaplan instructor and yes, if I did fail it for the 3rd time in FL a refresher course is required and here is a link for any FL students needing this info. http://www.floridashealth.com/mqa/nursing/ap_re-exam.pdf I will keep trying, I see it like this, the computer did not shut down on me so I guess I was borderline, it just means I have to be faster and the only way to get there is really by doing more questions frequently an work on timing. I'll have to call the FL BON on Monday to see if there are any time limits from when I graduated to when I can still sit for the NCLEX. Looks like Miami Dade college is the only one in the Miami area, I'll have to take a clinical class and a 2 day lecture for about $1200. USN8404
  3. Well, I just took my nclex for the 3rd time here in the great state of FL and just checked the pearson site and did not get that "good" pop up. I am so bummed out. I got up to question 205 and ran out of time, yeah, all six hours gone like that. I stumbled upon this site trying to find out what to do after the third failure. I see that I have to retake a refresher's exam, anyone knows of any here in miami,FL? I have read the motivational stories here and I will do my best to get back up and do this again. I am a military veteran that went to combat in Iraq and yes I do have some concentrating issues or lack of but damn, I thought for sure I would've passed this one. Thank you in advance for any info.
