  1. My last name starts with an H so I don't think its alphabetical. I think they're probably just moving through the apps as fast as they can.
  2. When I begin school in August, I will have a 2 month old (my first). I am fortunate to have an incredibly supportive and wonderful husband. A lot of these responses give me great hope. If yall can do it, maybe I can do it too! But I'm still worried - how do you keep the marriage alive and well? I'd rather we stay strong as a couple than just barely get by. Any advice on how to manage not only studies and kids, but also keeping a healthy marriage? I love my husband dearly and it worries me a lot that all the stressors will come between us. Also, my mom says I should consider deferring for a year. Anyone have any thoughts on that? Is it easier to go through school if the kid is 2 months? or 14 months? Or maybe it doesn't really matter either way? Thanks!
  3. Thank you all so, so much for your thoughts on this. You've confirmed what I thought all along, but just wanted that support from the board to make sure I was doing the right thing. In the end if I get in, I may leave the door open for myself to defer for a year to start, but either way, I want to get accepted first and foremost. Thank you all. I don't know what I would do without the sound advice I get from this board.
  4. Hi, I've just been selected to interview for nursing school. The interview will occur in a couple weeks at which point I'll be almost 6 months pregnant. I'm still hiding it pretty darn well, and with the right outfit I could probably be taken for not-pregnant. The nursing program I've applied to is very intense. If I can still hide it at the time of the interview, should I tell the interviewers that I'm pregnant? I'm so afraid that they will think the program is absolutely too hard for someone with an infant. The baby will be 2 months old when I start school. If you have any advice or experience with this sort of thing, please reply. I'd really appreciate the help!!!
