New TEAS V Science Section
Search online and in the library for any information about Biology 103 you can find. That covers a lot of the Science part. The other is pretty much stuff you have had since 8th grade. You can do it...

That's great. Posting scores helps others feel relief and understand what is going on! Good job.

Sections break out for TEAS-V
I agree. I scored overall 86 and science was by FAR my lowest. There are a lot of things I haven't seen since 8th grade science on there. I had plenty of time for each section and actually finished the test about 40 minutes early. I'm an older student too, so don't worry you will do fine!

That's a good idea. My advisor suggested applying for RN and LPN just in case. He said always have a plan B. I only used the ATI TEAS V study guide.

I scored an 86.0% overall. Reading 95.2, math 93.3, science 60.4 and english 96.7. The science got me LOL...but it's still higher than the national mean of 51.9. I plan to go to Wallace State in the fall. My school's mean score says 64.7% so hopefully I'll get in. 92.7 is GREAT!!! Good job. If you test well, I think this is not a problem. However, I see how some could have trouble if they panic and don't test good.

THIS! Relax, you will probably do better than you think. I also made an 86%. The science was difficult, and I made my worst score in it. However, english, math and reading were all easy and brought my score up.

How did you score Jode? I really don't know how to compare scores? My school goes off of a percentage.

I agree, it is hard sitting still that long without a break. I read on here before I took the test to just chill out the night before. It really did help! I didn't study at all, and just relaxed!

Study the parts of the cell and what they do. Study Boyle's law, know which organ is both exocrine and endocrine, there was one checmical equation to balance on my test, know that that protons are positive and electrons are negative, study covalent and isotonic bonds, they give you the periodic table to answer these questions...The english and math is easy. You should do well. In grammer, just read the sentence and if it sounds right, it probably is. I got a 100% on that part. Math know fractions (adding, subtracting, dividing and multiplying) and ratios, also know order of operation covered in the study guide. Hope that helps!

Who's taken the teas v?
I took mine yesterday. I did well, except on the science. It is a lot of information that if you don't know, will be hard to memorize in a few weeks. I only studied for a week and half and made 86%. The math is simply fractions and ratios, the English was easy and the reading was easier than the study guide. Definitely get the ATI study guide!! It's the way to go.
