Awesome! I did pick the $65 one and I finished it not too long ago. When did you pick up the chain of custody form? How exciting! Where did you order the books? I will start buying next week since I still have a class that I need to finish this weekend. I'll check my pm.

Hi Allie86, How are you? Guess what? I got an e-mail on Thursday asking me if I would like to start this Fall. Looks like a space became available so I accepted it. Do you know if you're still going for fall? Have you started the background check yet? I'm getting ready to do it since I just got a go signal to go for it yesterday. It will work out and once we're done with nursing, it'll all be worth it. Have you try Babysitters, Nannies and Nanny Services - Sittercity Babysitting I will create an account there once I know for sure if I'm accepted in Fall. I should be okay as far as childcare, I registered my daughter to one of the BASES (before and after school) in school where she'll be going for kindergarten. My only problem is when I get stuck in clinicals or she gets sick that I have to pick her up early. I don't really like to bother anyone for a favor to pick up my daughter, but I'll probably have to. My husband is deployed all the time and when he comes back (next month), his schedule is not even guarantee since he is sea duty and stationed in San Diego (32nd). I have family and friends that actually offered to pick up my daughter just in case, so I guess I'll have to accept the offer if I want everything to work out. I'm right by Pechanga Casino...are any of your kids in school yet?

I live in Temecula too, wow. We bought a house here in 2008. So you have 3 kids? That must be hard, I have 1 and I'm complaining lol. Finances, fortunately I have my husband's GI bill to cover school expenses and his income alone should cover monthly bills. We have savings that I might have to use when needed. Yeah they told me if decided not to start in Fall then I won't lose my spot in Spring. Have you thought about babysitters for your kids? Congrats on the little one :)

I'll be there too so I will see you. I'll look for you lol...Honestly, I'm still deciding because my daughter starts kindergarten in August as well and I still need to arrange babysitters and all. Also, I'm thinking too because I'm taking BS CLS and I should be done in December, but if I take the August starts, then I'll have to stop the other. I said yes when they sent me an e-mail because part of me is telling me to take it. Been waiting for this and I really want to get it done sooner. If there's no spot for august then I'm completely okay with it. Plus, I'm also working full time and have to quit.Do you live close to Palomar?

How exciting!!! I'm still on the 80's so I might not start anytime soon, but it's good to know the timeline on when I could possibly start. I'm also working on my BS CLS (clinical lab science) and I have about almost a year from now until I get it done. At least I'm getting something done while I'm patiently waiting for my # to come up. Good luck to you again and I hope you get everything you needed before the class starts.

I'm excited for you...best of luck! I appreciate everyone posting an update here cuz I'm still anxious to know when I could start....really hoping I can get in in Fall 2012.

Wow congrats...thanks for giving me an update! Yes that's good news and hopefully I can get in sooner. I also applied under the new point system but I won't find out till March I believe. I just checked the list and its still not updated 'till now. So, when do you all start? And is the program really 2 years? I would have been in a long time ago if they didn't start the new point system. Actually now they only take 18 from the current wait list and 18 from the new point system. So instead of 36 from the waitlist, now only half I hope so too, I've been waiting for about 2 years now.

No no no, I haven't received anything from them...acceptance letter, sure I wish they'll send me one sooner :). I'm just looking for someone I can ask like their waitlist #'s so I can get an estimate on how soon I can get in. I will turn my applications under the new point system, who knows I might be able to get in faster. Did you apply with the new point system? Or you stayed on the list the whole time? You probably applied before me, I applied in fall2009, you?
