  1. Hey KateM345, I have an interview this month and so far it has not been canceled. I was wondering it this happen to you. I'm leaving Monday to drive there from Florida and it would be so awful if I get there and there's no interview! Thanks for your help!
  2. FSU!! GO NOLES! I'm graduating next week, so I'm a little biased....however, the closest beach is like 45 minutes away. UNF in Jacksonville has a good program (and a good beach). USF (tampa) and UF also. There's a lot of great nursing programs in Florida. Scholarship wise...I received a lot of information when I was accepted into the FSU program. The nursing advisors at your school are usually a big help.
  3. that's so true! thank you!
  4. I'm a new grad with tech experience only in ICUs. I was leaning more towards the trauma center, but I'm hesitant because of the commitment. It's located in an area that I wanted to move out of.
  5. I am a new grad with previous experience in multiple ICUs, include CV, MS, and Neuro, at a level II trauma center. I have recently been offered two jobs. I am so thankful and lucky to have options, but I'm having difficulty deciding! The first job is in an ICU (mixed patients) at a level II trauma center that requires a 16 month internship with a 3 year commitment. The second job is in an SICU that is not a trauma center with a year commitment. Pros and Cons? Suggestions? Thanks!!!
  6. Hello all, I am currently an FSU nurse about to graduate in a few weeks! I loved this program and I feel like I have received an amazing educate. Like all nursing programs, it is tough and competitive, but totally worth it! As far as clinicals in Orlando and Jacksonville, we no longer do clinicals in Orlando, but there is 1 weekend in Jacksonville for our pediatric rotation...so no need to worry about traveling too much. If anyone has any questions about the program, feel free to ask!
  7. I did the same thing! Lol good luck
