UH Manoa BSN Fall 2018
Manoa was my only option considering that I'm not a resident and I have limited time on the island. If I had the option to save money I'd probably go for it. I may very likely have to take out some loans to pay for tuition and expenses and I'm not happy about it. Lol

UH Manoa BSN Fall 2018
@jules_mcd I only applied to Manoa, I want my BSN right away. I hear KCC is a great program. And you can always apply to Manoa to get your BSN after?

I didn't receive an email, I don't believe they'll be sending one. So far the letter is all I've received!

UH Manoa BSN Fall 2018
Hey welcome! The English portion was challenging for me as well, somehow I ended up getting a 95% in that section. I have no idea how, because I struggled so much while studying! Why don't you take it again and apply next year? Your GPA is strong! If you don't get in, I would take it again and apply for the next cohort.

UH Manoa BSN Fall 2018
We have similar stats! I'm so nervous, they're accepting mostly high school direct students. Hoping for the best!

UH Manoa BSN Fall 2018
@taylorr13 If I were in your shoes I would apply, just so that I'm not left with any regret in not applying. I'm from CA too btw, Los Angeles!

UH Manoa BSN Fall 2018
Hey! Sorry for the late response. I scored 90% on my TEAS. I called the nursing department and looks like they take your best 16 credits for pre-req GPA. So I applied with: Overall GPA of 3.92 Pre-req GPA 4.0 Teas: 90% I am really hoping I have a shot, they told me they have only about 14 spots for traditional BSN students! What are your stats like?

UH Manoa BSN Fall 2018
Hello all! I am a transfer student moving to Hawaii next month with my husband, he's military so we'll be stationed there for 4 years. I will be applying to UH Manoa's BSN program for Fall 2018. I have yet to see other threads for this cohort and was hoping I'd get an idea of my chances to get into the program. I know that it is incredibly competitive, so I have my fingers crossed that I will get into the program! I have an overall GPA of 3.92 cGPA 3.88 (I only have one B in CHEM, the rest all A's) I have 11 of 12 pre-req's completed except for Public Speech, which they just added. I have however taken Communications. TEAS score is pending, I'm currently studying for it and am taking it in two weeks! I am super nervous. I am not a resident of HI so unfortunately there's no point in applying to KCC, I just found out they do not accept non-residents. I have put so much effort into trying to finish my Nursing degree while moving around and am just desperate to get into UH! Anyone else out there applying? I'd love some feedback!
