UNH Direct Entry Master's Program
Hi! I applied for early admission (I think the deadline for that was in May) and had my interview at the end of July and found out their decision about a week later... I got in! If you applied after May, I think that they said they would make decisions in October? I hope this helps and good luck!!! I know how stressful it is just waiting!

UNH DEMN requirements
Thank you for your advice, Rioraven, and congratulations for being in your final year!! If you don't mind could you answer one more question for me? When it comes to the personal statement, how long was yours when you applied? Do you know how long other student's statements were? Mine is 2 pages, single spaced. It was originally 3 pages, single spaced and I had emailed the nursing department to see if that was a good length and they recommended that I shorten it up a bit. Thank you for your help!

UNH DEMN requirements
Hello! I am planning to apply for UNH's DEMN 2013 cohort and was looking for some advice as to the average GPA accepted? I know that they say above a 3.0, but I was wondering if current or previous student's of the program could offer any insight. I have an undergraduate GPA of 3.67 and experience working as a Med/Surg Unit Secretary. Any advice is greatly appreciated! I'm getting pretty anxious! Thanks!

Online A&P II and Microbiology???
Hi, everyone! This is one of my first threads! I was wondering if anyone has ever taken an online A&P or Microbiology course? I only need those 2 prerequisites and because my husband is in the military it is hard for me to take them in class right now. The school I'm thinking about taking them at is SAC regionally accredited so they should transfer, but I'm afraid that a science class and lab online will be too hard to manage since I really like to learn hands on and be able to ask lots of questions. However, given our current circumstances it would be the best option for me right now. I'm also afraid that the Direct Entry MSN program I am going to apply for will not like that I have taken those courses online as opposed to in class and it will effect their decision. Any input anyone has to offer would be very much appreciated! Thanks!!

UNH Direct Entry Master's Program
Hi!!! I am very interested in applying to UNH's Direct Entry Master's of Nursing Program. I have seen a few older threads discussing this program, and was wondering if any current students or graduates from this program could offer any further insight? The program is for students with a degree in another area, and I was wondering how much you were able to utilize your first degree in this program and in the nursing field in general? I have my B.S. in Psychology and would love to use my love and knowledge for psychology in my nursing career. Also, how competitive is the program? I had a 3.8 GPA during my Bachelor's but am lacking in professional experience. My husband is in the military and will be getting out soon, so I plan on trying to get a position or volunteer in a health care setting before I apply to gain more experience and knowledge as well as increase my chances of getting accepted. Any advice that anyone could give me would be so very appreciated! Thank you! :)
