  1. I just graduated nursing school and applied to the Oklahoma Board of nursing for my LPN. I did not disclose an arrest I had for a worthless check I had written as a Juvenile (it was for under $5) the case is also sealed. The court told me I did not need to disclose this, they were wrong. I submitted all the court documents. Now, my application is now being examined by a investigator at the board. Does anyone know what I can expect from here? Do I need a lawyer? What should I do now?
  2. i don't know what i should do. i was just falsely accused of verbally abusing a resident. i am a cna and work 3rd shift at a nursing home. the resident who accused me actually verbally abused me all the time. she would tell me almost every night she would call me names and say that she was going to report me. she would brag about other cna's that she had fired before. i would report this every night to my supervisor and they told me that they would chart her behavior. i was just called into the don's office the other day and was told that i was fired and accused of verbally abusing a resident and that she sent of the allegation to the nurse aid registry. this don has only been there for 3 days. she didn't even bother investigating. the resident has a history of making reports. what do i do now? does anyone have any advice?
