What does your screenname mean?
The Laughing Dog was a bar in Lawernce Kansas, I believe it has been renamed since, havn't been there in a long time. Lot of good times in Lawernce so I decided to pay tribute to that bar. I was born in 72 so thats how I put that screename together.

Cna, Cma, Cmt?
What is the differance between cna, cmt, cma? I want to work in the health care industry while I work on a nursing degree but am confused about the job responsibilities and requirements of these positions.

RN's in the Ozarks
I am not a nursing student yet but I have been an SMSU student for the last 8 years and can tell you that it's a great school. I love smsu. I keep finding ways to stay there......lol. Cox in my opinion is the better hospital, St. Johns is the other major health system in the Springfield area and it is located only a couple miles south of SMS on national street. Cox is on national as well but further south. If you havn't already, you can check out their website at http://www.smsu.edu If you have any other questions let me know. :)

hours and pay I can expect with agency
I am a workaholic and wanted some info on the number of hours I can expect. Is it hard to get 40+ hours a week with an agency? Is it really possible to make $40 or $50 an hour? Can I expect to have steady hours or is it like being a substitute teacher where you are lucky to get a call? By the way I live in the Springfield Mo area if anyone out there is from Missouri I would like to hear from you.

travel/agency & overtime pay
Do travel and/or agency nurses get paid overtime for additional shifts that exceed 40 hours per week? Do they typicaly get paid shift or weekend differentials or is the pay a set rate? Thanks.
