  1. Thank you for responding with great advice. You are an inspiration! :)
  2. Hi, I've been "lurking" on this site for a while now and I think there is a lot of good advice given on these forums. I need some advice from my older and wiser ladies and gentlemen. :) I am just going to shoot straight from the hip and hope someone helps me out with the questions. My goals are to get accepted into Nursing school, complete it, and work as a nurse for at least a year before starting a family. My overall GPA is 2.06 from many stupid decisions made in the past. :vlin: I have 9 classes left for an associates degree. I need all of the standard sciences of any pre-nursing program (ie. A&P 1 and 2, and Microbiology). The plan is to take one class per semester (science pre reqs) leaving summer reserved for core classes. 30 years old and very happily married to a very supportive husband. :redbeathe Should I complete the associates degree and boost my GPA as high as I could possibly get it, then complete the pre reqs or just complete the pre reqs, test and apply to nursing schools? :hdvwl: Thanks in advance. :)
