Read any anesthesia textbooks before acceptance?
If your interview is more clinical based, focus your readings on CCRN review books. Good luck.

If you can't get immediate adult ICU experience after school which is better....
Working in a PICU or NICU would increase your chances of being accepted into anesthesia school. Any positions available in PACU or ER? There are many people in NAP's with only ER or PACU experience. Good Luck.

Interesting Case - Pheochromocytoma
Phentalomine............ a potent presynaptic alpha-2 blocker that would counteract the excess catacholamine release from the tumors intraoperatively.

TWU CRNA students?
Thanks for the advice as it definitely helps us enter the right frame of mind. A couple of questions, if you don't mind answering: did you take completely separate notes in class and then use them in conjunction with the pre-printed notes? and what study habit helped you the most? Thanks again for your time as I am sure you are preparing for clinicals in less than two weeks. ALL
