  1. I'm a sociology major at UCDenver and taking a majority of my classes online. I moved to California and need to take some science classes (chemistry, anatomy, physiology) on campus though. I was wondering if it made a difference whether I take these classes at a community college vs a university? The community college is Miracosta in Oceanside.. But, I was also admitted to CSU San Marcos and San Diego State University. So I'm not sure which is the best option if I'm planning to apply to an accelerated BSN program in the future?? Sorry if this is kind of a dumb question, I'm just not sure! Thanks =)
  2. Great idea :) I will do that... thanks!!!
  3. Thanks so much for the response Good luck to you in getting accepted!
  4. I have an AA degree and transferred to a university as a junior, majoring in biology/sociology. I just recently decided on being a nurse practitioner. I want to finish off my degree at the university and try to get into an accelerated BSN or MSN program later in the future. At the same time, I want some experience so I want to start off with a nursing program at a community college.. I'm a new mommy and constantly moving since my husband is in the military. So, what do you think is better for my situation? The CNA or LVN program? Or should I just go for the RN? Cost of program CNA= $550 LVN=$2800 Or any advice in general? Thanks so much in advance!
