to nursewholikesnursing- hi, hmm, i was thinking about that but some people told me that would be difficult because the board should know that i already had my application submitted in CA state. i dont know. its really giving me hard time. you know what, i was thinking to go to an attorney!. to just get an advice. i mean, i thot it was jez me but i can see theres alot of us out here.i have nothing against the board but its just unfair in my part. because my classmates got their eligibility. same hours. just last year too. they said they have not changed anything, but then later they said they changed it already. to dee07- hi dee07. really oh, not yet, im still trying to inquire. whats your deficiency?

@mylinedizon- Hi, i have tried to talk to the board last month and they said that the minimum requirememnts was increased last jan of 2011. so im trying to find a school here at SD to finish my deficiency, cuz i gues i have no choice. super sad. whats your situation?

oh shoot. i know! heheh! really! so how long will it take for you to finish your deficiency according to SFSU? yes matter of fact i did apply already last year of august? . im just waiting now. i hope no problem will arise.or ill shoot myself. hahaha! im jez kidding. its jez that its very frustrating that this is happening to us. i just wanna pass and work!! thats all. and all those wont happen without my eligibility. hahah!.

hi ladies and gentleman i just finished talking to one of the nclex international analyst about my deficiency. she is very nice and she tried to explain to me why i am deficient even though my clasmates and i have the same hours. so basically, i was deficient because the administration of board of nursing changed jan. of 2011. so those who applied for 2011 might ov been under the book by book policy administration. i have psychiatric hours deficiency, and the only way i could take my exam is to enroll in one of the schools here. so i gues i just have to go back to school again. she said it might take up to 1-3 months only for my deficiency. i hope this info helped you even just a little bit.

im from Northern Luzon Adventist College. not a well known school, its an adventist institution. how about you? oh you happen to know how many hours is your psychiatric nursing?

its pretty depressing how our application went. i mean, i would totally accept it that i have deficiency if they raised the minimum hours but they did not.,and one thing also is that i have classmates and friends here who went to same school and have exactly the same hours. zhapper2002-im really sorry about ur situation. just dont give up yet, try to contact your school and let them know your delema. they might help you. proudpinay- what do you mean the reapplication form? is that your appeal to re-evaluate or you really applied for a new one again? thank you!.

thats the thing also, i keep emailing and always askin how many hour is required and how many hour im lacking but unfortunately, they have no concrete answer to my queries. how about ur situation?

Hiproudpinay! i was able to look at it and tried to compare also, but its giving me a hard time to understand because i just need to know a particular subject( which is my psychiatric nursing) hows ur comparison? do you know how many hours is your psychiatric nursing in theory and clinicals? thank you!. oh do you have deficiency also?

Hi silverdragon102, thanks for your reply. my analyst told me that they raised the hours just the first of the last year. and then, i ask them what exactly is the minimum and didnt get any response from her.(that was last year of october) so i tried to leave a comment or complain in the DCA(november).is it true that u have raised the no. of hours? and i told them about my classmates receiving eligibility and we have the same hours and i did not. i ask them also why is that?. then one of the BRN internation analyst respond to my queries and told me that the CA BOARD DID NOT change any requirements at all. so i dont know which and what? im really confused. thanks!

Hi fellows, i am one of the many nursing graduate who have the same delema. i also have deficiency in psychiatric nursing, but i dont understand because 5 of my classmates and they are my close friends as well, received eligibility. i called my school they said we have perfectly the same hours and concurrency in that area. how come i didnt received my eligibility?. i even helped one of my friend in her application here. is it ok that i should talk to them (board) and fight for it? because i thinks its unfair. dont you think? please i need your input. thanks a lot. :-)

hi shawie! oh its complicated. they told me my hours is deficient and do not meet CA requirements. so they told me to enroll again. they gave me 3 years to complete it before my application will be abandoned. i still dont get it i still feel its unfair bcuz i ask my dean back in pinas if is there any other classmate that has same problem, he said its just my appl. im so freakin frustrated right now. why would they give 4 of my classmate and they are my friends also eligibility except me, the fact that we went to same school, same class, same hours and all that. our registrar and dean also told me that we have exactly the same credits . im really loosing my hope. i cant still believe this is happening. :-( thank you for asking. do you have same situation as mine?

Hi, Im in desperate need of advise because the CA BON told me that my psychiatric hours is below the minimum required. my Psychiatric hours is 80 hrs. i think its not fair for me cuz My friends and classmates were able to get their eligibility. we we went to same school and we have same hours. they said they raised the hours this 2011. they told me to enroll again here at CA for my deficiency. should i enroll or is there any other option i can take. obviously i dont wanna go back to school again. heheh Is there anybody out there who are having the same problem as i am? did you ever ask em if how many hour you still need to comply? wel, i just emailed then yesterday if how many exactly is the minimum hours now, cuz like what i said me and my friend who got her eligibility just last aug. we compared our hours and its just the same. are you in texas now? well, goodluck to that. i hope they wont give you hard time in there. and as for me, ill just keep praying. cuz i dont really wanna go back to school again.

hi, i was researching for 2 weeks already if some people had same situation like mine. and really there is. i thought its just me. but yeah, i also received the same letter from the board. just this month. i graduated 2009 and i was so devastated only to find out this thing. ive been applying for more than a year and when i finally received the letter only to find out i still have deficiency and have to enroll coz of my psychiatric hours deficiency. I tried to make an appeal to them and told them i have a friend who graduate 2008 live just an exit away from my house and we graduated in the same school and she was able to received her eligibility last august. iam so super frustrated. at least i know now that somebody out there knows how it feels like. :-( have you ever ask em if how many is the minimun hours required? oh i hope we will have exemption since we finished our nursing degree prior to the new mnimun hours policy. lets all pray that the analyst will show mercy on us. oh i dont want to go back to school again. i have studied hard for 4 years already. thanks! i hope i can hear from you guys. oh im from cali too.
