OK, so as an LPN we do start IV's i was never really sure i start nursing school in June. That would be my only fear the rest does not bother me.

I am in Fredericksburg i hope to work at Mary Washington one day.

Congrats to you !!!! It gives me alot of hope because i too live in Central Va and start nursing school in June and L&D is where i want to be. I know that there arent many LPN's in L&D but i am not going to give up. Please come back and update us on how the job is going. Congrats again P.S Would you mind telling me what hospital you are working at in Central Va would it be Mary Washington?

Wow i am also from Central Va and just starting nursing school at Germanna on June 1. The L&D is where i want to be. Is this a passion for you to be in L&d? I think if it what you want and your family supports you in it then go for it.Although i have never worked nights so i guess i cant make your decisions and good luck in what you decide.

I have a question. I just got my results of my LPN entrance exam. I did not do as well as i would have liked. I did well on everything else but my Bio and my Chemistry 60 something on both. I have a 4.0 GPA and have all my pre-req almost done what do you think my chances are for getting into the nursing program. if i dont get in i dont know what i will do. Thanks in advance for any thoughts. anxious in VA
