Are you talking about the TEAS test? If so, you can take it two times every six months, and I think its 2 weeks apart. You just turn in the best score. So if you take it in January then again in march, you must wait until July to take another then September again.

Hey weatherford college main campus, we need our facebook page also! Anyone know how to do that? If not I will ask my child. I am not a facebook genius like she is :) I know wise county has one, but we should have our own so that there will be no confusion on assignments, etc.

WC offers the CPR classes, there is also a lady that will come to your home and give you the class for the same price. I was going to get with some of the applicants and see if they wanted to do this as a group after we get to know each other.

Christy, alternates have to pay for background and drug screening by the due date. I think the shots are required also and attending orientation. If you are an alternate not making it this time, the background check carries over until the next period, or at least mine did but it was under a year. The drug screen does not carry over so you would have to do it again. However Christy, it won't be a problem, we are all hoping you are "in" with us :)

Chisty, I think its under $100 so far for drug screen and fingerprinting.

ok, so don't make my mistake....transcript reviews get turned into KL and then she turns them into the office as a class.

Have any of you turned in your transcript review to the college? I did today to the Weatherford College admin/counseling office. There was no receipt or anything and they said it would be completed in May or June. Just wondering how KL knows its completed. Everything else on our list had receipts of some sort to turn in. I did not have to do this portion on the alternate list last time.

Idslees, I bought the littman classic SE, I would suggest going to a store that has both the classic and the lightweight so you can feel them and use them to make your decision. For me the light didn't feel good in my hands, like it was plastic. Everyone is different so you may like something else. Definately don't buy online until you find which one you want, so go to a scrub store look and feel the stethascopes and see which one fits you.

That is good news, because that means exceptance or alternate, otherwise I think they come in smaller envelopes. I wish she would have just gave you the news so you wouldn't be waiting. Lets hope for tomorrow

Yes, they can tell you exactly what you need, just make sure it is not changing for the semester. They are totally ugly! Ask the guy at the desk and he will show you. That shop also has a brand of stethoscopes that are made to be like the ltman light that are inexpensive. Don't buy a litman from him if you want one, because they are more expensive than going online. Christy!!!!!! where are you? Have you checked with KL?

When you get your fingerprints done, they print you out a receipt of completion, that is what you turn in. For the drug test, when you pay online, there is a receipt that you can print. This is so exciting!! Let me know if she gives you any idea if we can begin purchasing books and stuff. I know the scrubs are around $45 a pair at the scrub shop next to WC. There is only one shirt option and the pants can either be elastic or drawstring but other than that you can't really choose anything else, the brand is Laundau.
