4 week rotation. I got to see 4 lady partsl births, 4 C-sections, gave several newborn baths and did newborn assessments and Hep B injections. For mom, mostly observed in labor, but got to do many assessments and fundal checks.
We had a meeting several months ago in order to turn in all of our paperwork and got info on more testing and what to bring to orientation. The actual orientation day is 8 hours. It will be held the week before classes start and hosted by the sophmore nursing class. I know we will be ordering uniforms that day and talk about books/equipment needed for class, but I'm not sure about any more details. I, too, am very excited! The start of the semester is getting close!
