Diaphoretic

I work in a long term care facility and 2 times now recently I have seen a man standing outside a residents room and within four hours each time of seeing this gentleman the residents have died it really weirds me out.. anyone see anything like this?

I forgot to add this was in my clinicals.

I am a male nurse and the only bias I ever encountered was in L&D. They had me go in supervised with a female nurse to do postpartum assessments etc. I thought the whole thing was very funny because I believe that no matter what gender you are you should maintain a good bedside manner and when you are assessing the amount of lochia on a brief / pad then in most mens eyes sex is the farthest thing from their mind. I know it was the farthest thing from mine... .......... silly things we must live with.

My opinion is let them do what they will to us............and as always we will stick together and make them change it STRIKE my friends STRIKE.... They need us and they know it.

I just graduated from LPN school in May and it was one of the hardest things I have ever done in my life but very rewarding... I am going back for my RN in the spring I just need a break and need to make some money. I encourage you to go be a nurse if you feel that you are being called to do so. I LOVE IT.
