  1. I'm currently attending Downey Adult School, which I absolutely love! I'm already enrolled in Licensed Vocational Nurse program. It is fully accredited and it only costs $8,995 for the 2011 Winter class, but I'm having trouble coming up with the money. I'm pretty sure financial aide will cover $5,550 because my mom and I make bare bones. I've already paid $2,000 down payment, so I'm covered until I have to file for the 2011-2012 school year. After that is where I'm screwed. I went onto fastweb to see if I can find any scholarships and so far most of them are asking for information on the current college or university I'm attending. Obviously I am not attending either one because it's an adult school. Is it possible for me to apply for the scholar ships that ask for this information? Does attending an adult school disqualify me even though I'm studying for a trade? What are some other options out there for me?
  2. I thought that if you had your IV certification you could withdraw blood and start IV's, but when I go see job requirements, some require you to have both an IV and phlebotomy certification. What's going on with this? Does one let you do something that the other does not? What I mean is, doesn't having your IV certification let you do everything a phlebotomist does?
  3. Go to Textbooks | College Textbooks | New Textbooks | Used Textbooks | College Textbooks | Cheap Textbooks , they'll search websites to see if there are any matches and redirect you to them. Most of the time you can find them for 50% off or less.
