  1. Seeking suggestions for a cool team name for a group of ED nurses (and one doctor) who will be taking part in a walking challenge at our facility. Any thoughts?
  2. suhlir posted a topic in General Nursing
i've recently started researching and benchmarking charge pay for nurses; my hope is that i can gather enough information to present to my organization so that charge nurses can get an incentive that is adequate for the amount of work they are doing. i would like to know: 1. how much extra do charge nurses make at your facility? if you want to add in: 1. if they also have an assignment. 2. what type of floor it is. 3. number of beds in the department/floor. 4. your geographical location. any information would be greatly appreciated!
  3. Try Ohio University; I completed my RN to BSN from there.
  4. i also checked into these schools when i first thought about going back for my bsn. unless reimbursed by your employer, these schools are very expensive. i just completed ohio university's online rn-bsn program. i really enjoyed their program and i couldn't beat the price: it's about 50 hours and about $5,850. check out their website at: http://bsn.online.ohio.edu/default.asp bsn degrees from ohio university and the schools you listed would be accepted by a masters program. i currently just applied for a masters program at the university of cincinnati and didn't have a problem what so ever. good luck!
