  1. My due date to take my nclex is in February 7. The reason why I want to change the date is because I had a car accident at the end of October. I was not guilty, my car was totally loss, waiting the money from the insurance to buy another car, appointment with the chiropractic and Ortophedic, MRI appoinments, etc, etc, I am from Texas so is this a problem with Pearson vue or The state board? I call both and they said that is not possible any extension on my date. I need only one more month. After waiting 7 months to get approved to take the nclex and now this accident I am becoming crazy, these are my reasons for that extension, only one more month. Should I find a lawyer? Those people need to understand that there are some circunstances in life that let us unable to be ready to take the test. Pearson vue told me that if I do not take the test I have to pay again, which is not a big problem and that I will miss my first opportunity which I do not want. They also told me that I need to submit everything and get approved again ...but my question is to get approved by the state board of nursing or by Pearson? so If I waited 7 months because I had something on my record, should I wait another 7 months to get approved in case that I need to submit everything again. I am despairing What can I do ?
