College Network?
Well I will very much so have different sources as well, just wanted the study guides as a layout for me. The difference between this and straight through was not that much (for me at least), and the whole brick and mortar thing will not be an option; CC's way to long of a wait, and other schools not national accrediation and a whole lot more, yikes, almost moved to Idaho to do Carrington LPN to RN for 25,000.... sweet niblets! So do you have any study groups online you know of?? I saw some people post something about yahoo groups?

College Network?
Alrighty, so I have read quite a few post.... sooo many. Anywho, I know that I want to go through College Network because I like the way it is set up, I like the materials and I like having an advice line :-) For me the price is way cheaper then what I was considering so hey I'm cool. So with that being said, all I really want to hear feedback on is if you have gone through their network and if their guides were helpful and prepared you for the test and if there was any problems going form TCN to Excelsior. Yes I do know it is not a college, just a publisher and the classes are counted as test outs. I only have to gen eds' so it really works out for me, and I can start now while I'm in my last 90 days of LPN school, and be doing the RN classes right after I'm done so it works out better for me then going straight through excelsior cause I couldn't enroll anyway until I have my LPN. But I digress, so yes please no flames about how I'm an idiot or what not, I just want the honest experience of people who have either gone through them (or another) or used their material and what they thought. I signed up today, and because it's 3 business days I have till Wednesday to cancel, which I know I won't because I am far to lazy to do all the crap they handle on my own, lol anywho so thank you guys

The College Network
I just signed up with TCN, I only have two pre-reqs to do and then just the nursing stuff :), I choose to only finance the modules and all that and just pay for the test as they come up because it was cheaper that way! I'm wondering if they have changed because they way it is for me is I have phase one and two of paying; one is all the modules and test including nursing and test, and phase two is the other stuff. I'm just wondering why you have three different ones listed? Or maybe I just miss read. Anywho I am really interested in hearing about your progress!!

So I had the guy come today and I signed and everything :) really excited. This is how the clinicals work for LPN to RN; for most states in which you are going to be licensed require some clinical hours on top of the CPNE, in that case what you will do is the foot work; find a site where you want to go, talk to them see if they will take you and then contact your rep or the school and they will do all the contracts for you. Now there are some states, like mine :), that do not require any other clinical hours from LPN to RN other then the CPNE, in this case don't worry about it. Now I have a couple of questions. I don't really care about the money aspect, this tuition was sooooooo much cheaper (around 10000) then going back to Carrington (Apollo, 25,000) or any other tech school which will charge you no short of 18000+, which I would have to move across the country for..... so I am not quite sure why people are saying they are outrageous, because all private colleges are and hate to break it to ya but if you went to a vocational school like me, those credits an't transferable, but I digress. What I want to know it what are the test like and do the modules you buy help? What's the deal with Excelsior not taking College Network's credits??? Because they do, I have a friend who did the same thing and had no problem with enrolling in Excelsior, and last why is the clinical weekend so hard? What is it that people fail at? Thank you, hope to hear from someone soon!
