  1. I'm hoping to start taking classes at BMCC in the summer for nursing. I graduated with a B.A. in Sociology in 2007 and want to make the switch to nursing. Prior to attending a 4-year university, I attended another community college (started in the fall of 2001 after high-school). My first semester I took Anatomy & Physiology 1 and received a C. At that time, I took it purely for the required science credit and never studied as I never thought I'd eventually switch to science. I also took psychology that same semester and received a B (we didn't have half grades, just A, B, C, D, and F -- my average was an 88, which equaled a B). I obviously have to re-take Anatomy & Physiology but also wanted to retake psychology. I finally was able to speak to someone in admissions and they said they haven't received my previous community college transcript, which is where those 2 classes are found. After I send it, how to I request those 2 classes don't transfer in so I can retake them for higher grades? Is it a long, arduous process or a fairly straight forward request...especially since almost a decade has lapsed?
