hey rpnstudent47! i was just reading you forum and i noticed you took the admissions test to george brown/ryerson. Congrats that you got in by the way! :) goodluck in your program! anways, im applying for the same program for september 2011. I'm scheduled to take the admissions test soon and i'm really nervous. is there anything pointers you can give me? like what to know and stuff like that. how did you study? was the science component hard? or is it general knowledge? utopia u said u got accepted to geroge brown and centennial right? what was your average applying to university? if you dont mind me asking? cause i'm trying to get into the same program but i dont know what my average has to meet.

i have a question for the people who got accepted to the George Brown/Ryerson Program. What was your average going you were applying with? and how long did you have to wait to get accepted? was there a waiting list?

hey daisy! thanks for the reply. i dont beleive it is requried for all students but i know that there is an english entrance exam for the centennial college practical nursing program, and a basic science, math, and english entrance exam for george brown practical nursing. one of my options where to go to conestoga. where is it located? and how's the program? pratical nursing? studentpn 73 the entrance exam is basically a test you take in order to get into the practical nursing programs at centennial and george brown. the course codes are different now, but the requirements for pn are eng3u1 (grade 11 english),sbu3u1(grade 11 bio),sch3u1(grade 11 chemistry) ,and any math mdm4u1. thanks for the reply guys! -jeff

Hey guys! i just made an account here. i was reading the threads and i found the information very useful. i have some questions myself actually :) i'm currently in grade 12 and applying to college. I'm planning on applying to the Practical Nursing program at george brown and centennial. In order to get in you need to write an entrance exam for science, math, and english. does anyone know how i can study for the science portion? like any useful tips from people who took the exam? or already in the program? thanks guys! -Jeff
