  1. Hi, It is a very casual interview, haven't heard of anybody that got an interview and not accepted. Just make sure why you choose Jefferson over other schools, why become a nurse (any inspirations?), what do know about the role of nurses, any clinical experiences that may relate to nursing? Good luck.
  2. Thank you all for the info on insurance coverage. Definitely check out the IBX before signing up with Jeff. Ash, regarding your campus key, just give it a little more time. As far as i remember, it took more than two days for it to generate.
  3. @Ash-Niki emailed me for my social security number so that she can set up the campus key for me after my acceptance. Then I received a confirmation letter later saying that it can take up to 24hrs for the key to be generated. It actually took like two days. I went to pulse and select campus key look up and got it that way. Insurance question for everyone who don't have insurance coverage like me. I looked up the minimum coverage requirement for Jeff and it cost almost $4000 for one year. That's like more than $300 a month, insanely expensive and unreasonable. Now, for those that already looked into outside options, please share your research with other insurance companies and their package that will satisfy Jeff's requirement plus prices. Thank you
  4. Another question.. For the background chk, child abuse clearance, drug text and fingerprinting, how is everyone completing this requirement? Should I order the package for $95 from Jefferson's link to the AmercianData bank? I just want to check with everyone before going ahead and pay, pay, and pay.
  5. Hi everyone, For the Medical record requirements, Is there an actual health form provided by the University that we can print out online? Where do we print out the pre-req. agreement form? So overwhelming!!!
  6. 1st but second batch. The first batch of applicants got a decision before Jan and I was promised a decision after Jan.
  7. @nistari-I know you got a head start, can you share some info on the financial aid process as an independent? I know we need to fill out the FAFSA and submit 2011 tax return. Is there something else I might need to know?
  8. Hi everyone, I got an interview today and got my acceptance email two hours later. It was such a relieve; Good luck to those that are still waiting.
  9. hey mitch30, did you receive the interview email after the New Years? Did you call Ms. Kelley afterall? If you did, what did you ask her? I am still waiting so any advice would help.
  10. Fancy, Mitch and Terp, what's the first letter of your last names? Just to get an idea of the interview process. Thanks
  11. I submitted mine early too, and I still didn't get anything yet my last name begins with a W. Remember the confirmation letter saying some will let a decision before Jan. 1 and other will get it after Jan. 1.
  12. I totally know how you feel about calling the school. The last time that I called, I felt like a pain in the butt and I had to promise not to call again:)
  13. Please update us about whether we will be interview or not. I am dying to find out. Life would be a lot more simple if the interview process is omitted. If I don't get accepted to Jeff, my next choice will be Drexel or UMDNJ. I don't want to waste anymore time or money and take useless courses.
  14. I got the confirmation letter today. It says a decision will be rendered AFTER Jan. 1. I wonder why some are promised a decision BEFORE Jan. 1 although we are all in the first round of review. I was told that for the 1st round, there's more than 400 applicants. This is so competitive.
  15. I am in the same situation as you, Fancy84. I wonder why we didn't receive an email like everyone else
  16. I submitted everything on time for the first round of review. I submitted the supplemental on Nov. 1st. but no email to confirm that my application is completed. This is so nerve-wrecking......
  17. I think you will first get contacted for an interview and then they'll let you know if you are accepted or not.
  18. I esubmitted on September 9 and GPA calculation was done today.
  19. To Fancy84, Just put 40 credits, given that you already have a bachelors.
  20. i think i remember someone telling me that its better to score above a 500 on both math and reading
  21. if u dont meet the gpa requirement, u have to take either the mat or gre
  22. I applied last year without my pre-reqs all completed. I have to reapply this year as soon as nursingcas start their new cycle on Aug. 15. If you want to know more, let me know
  23. I resubmitted my transcript in the beginning of January and haven't heard anything yet. I still have to finish up micro, stat and nutri this spring. I hope I can be part of Fact 2011, keeping my fingers cross, good luck to you Cpinphilly
  24. To atomicowoman: Does that mean that I'll most likely be put into the waiting list when I give the counselor my fall grade? Or, there is a chance that I can get a definite acceptance based on the majority of the pre-reqs being completed?
  25. I applied for the program and made it to the 2nd round. Niki assigned a "hold for grade" for my application. After I get my grade on DEC 16 for A&P II, I will have the majority 4/7 of the pre-reqs completed. Just want to know if anyone is in the same situation as me? Can someone that's in the program that might have went through a similar situation last year explain to me what that really mean?
