  1. Has anyone tried to appeal their denial due to education? What does that process look like?
  2. I don't understand how an applicant can pass their competency test (NCLEX), a nationally recognized test and not give acceptance. It seems to me, if they were to separate themselves from other state standards, they would find a new test to measure competency. Is there a way to appeal or challenge their decision if I am not accepted?
  3. I graduated from an accredited Canadian school partnered with a Caribbean school. CA BON has denied my request to sit for the NCLEX. Instead I applied to CO BON and they granted me an AT&T number to sit for the NCLEX. I took the NCLEX and passed. I am currently an Colorado RN. Is there any way to get a California license now?
  4. Let me know what specific questions you have about the school and the island. I am a current student. I am in my second semester. I have one more semester here and plan on transfering to CSU. Regarding rent. Most likely you will be placed at the Royal St. Kitts Hotel. The cost is somewhere between $775 and $1000 and rising each semester. You can find other places, but you never know what you are going to get. Its hard to find a deal unless if you are on the island itself. Dan Carlton PS- Feel free to email me at [email protected]
