  3. Nursing specialties: the hours & schedules that accompany it

    Hello all! I would like to know the hours and schedules of typical nursing specialties. At a birthday party on Monday a friend mentioned to me that OR RN's typically have M-F, 8-5 shifts. Cancer hospitals have the same as well. Can anyone put some truth to any of this? What are some other specialties and the hours? Which ones stay to a 12 hour shift? TIA:)
