  1. I will be starting this quarter (Dec. 2010). I looked around a lot before I applyed. You CAN GO ON FOR YOUR BSN WHEN YOUR DONE! There are a number of colleges that will accept your ADN and the fact that you passed your boards as prereqs for admission. It maybe online or not local, but it can be done. As with all schools your going to get out of it what you put in. I know a number of the nursing students at the Newburgh IN campus, and they all think very highly of the program and know that when they are done they will have job offers locally. I think that with every college someone is going to have a bad experience. I went to Ivy tech and was told that I was going to be put on probation in the financial aid dept. because my class pass/drop attempted/earned ratio was to low since I had to drop 4 out of the 5 classes I took one sem. when my mom passed. I then transfered to USI where they told me I did not qualify AT ALL for Federal Aid. (They were wrong.) I am getting a FULL Pell grant, at ITT, USI had gone in and changed some of my info, incorrectly. So although I know a number of people PERSONALLY that love IVY TECH AND USI, I DO NOT. I am currently enrolled in a diff program at ITT and love it there.
