  1. I am getting so nervous. I take my test next Tuesday (April 19th). I am not ready at all. This is my third time taking it but first time taking version 5. I only have to take the science section (my school allows you to only take the section that you didn't pass). I'm planning on doing the online test version A tomorrow and then the day before the test I'll do version B hoping that my score improves. I HAVE to pass. If I do my interview will be scheduled next week and I'll know by the following week and class will begin May 2nd. Yikes! Good luck to everyone else and I'll post after my test.
  2. Okay, I am officially freaking out. I have taken the teas 3 times now and can't pass this stupid science section. The first two times I scored around a 53% on the version 4.0 but I took the teas V today and got a 43% on that section so yeah apparently you do score ten points lower. How should I approach this in order to get a better score? I don't get what I'm doing wrong. I really want to be able to start in the class in May so I need to focus and pass this test. I think I only need a 56 in that section to pass. Is there anywhere that you can go to just take that section so you don't have to waste your time with the sections that you have already passed. My school that I'm hoping to get into allows you to do that but since I failed the second time I have to wait three months from that date to take it there. They just said that if I found somewhere else to take it sooner that I could do that. I'm just trying to get this done so that I can get the process going and ensure my seat in the May class. If anybody could help that has been through this, I would really appreciate the advice.
  3. I am looking at Galen and Keiser to attend in February/March to start the LPN program. I then plan on to continue to get my RN through their bridge program. Long term I plan on continuing to get my bachelor's (RN) and then get my master's and test to become a CNM. Anyway....I'm just wondering what some of the pros and cons are at both of these schools are. I'm sitting here and really can't decide which school I like the best. I know they are both expensive. That's not my biggest concern. To me I like the small class size and that you get a lot more clinical experience. I went to Keiser and I love the staff and it seems great. Then again Galen seemed nice too and I loved the look of their labs. So I need help. I also want to know that if I transfer somewhere else like University of Tampa that my credits would transfer (Galen has assured me that UT and Univ of Phoenix will accept their credits). Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
