  1. This has happened to me many times! It doesn't make me annoyed, it makes me laugh! I usually tell the patient that I've been practicing my IV starts ALL DAY so it shouldn't be a problem, then I wink at the family member. Humor usually breaks the ice and gets rid of any tension and/or, all knowing attitudes between everyone. I must say though....way to go on getting pastries!!! Your mom would have turned in to my favorite patient with you bringing pastries!
  2. Hi there, I am a single mom of a wonderful little, 8 month old girl. My parents live in SE MI and I live in Charlotte, NC. I love NC so, so much however, it hurts my heart that my daughters relationship with her grandma, grandpa and uncles is long distance. I'm considering selling my home and relocating back to MI. I have six years of experience in the ED of busy trauma center. All ED certification requirements are current and I can function in any role in the ED from Staff to Charge. Are there positions available and what is the estimated pay-rate? I've looked on some hospitals websites however, I know the real truth is here! Any insight is appreciated!
