  1. In the state of NH the RN NCLEX and PN NCLEX come from the exact same bank of questions.
  2. Hi STK: So sorry about your news. It must be heart wrenching to deal with. My question for you is Before hearing from an investigator did you get a copy of the complaint and chance to write a statement explaining your side? I thought when an employer or anyone for that matter filed a compaint they had to give you the opportunity to reply than decide if an investigation would happen.
  3. True, very true. Thank You so much.
  4. The nurse IS still working and i'm beginning to think that Drug testing is for the sole purpose of detecting Marijuana and quite frankly useless.
  5. Curious to know what happens when a nurse is diverting meds (counts not adding up when this nurse is present, etc). And a UA is negative? How are things handled at this point?
  6. i think i will take my inquiries regarding insight of this matter to a different forum, thanks anyway.
  7. Hi SissyKim: The count was wrong before I even took the keys.
  8. Anyway to email you privately?
  9. ]Hello All: Wasn't real sure where to post this topic but here goes-I recently came on to my shift and did Narcotic count with nurse leaving her shift. A large amount of a specific drug was unaccounted for, so I brought it to her attention. The med was given on her watch through her shift a couple of times, her documentation indicates the med was where it was supposed to be or as to be expected. It wasn't until count she realized there was a problem. There is a history with this specific nurse btw. To make a long story short the facility requested we do a urine test which I personally refused under the circumstances that I was not present and didn't feel I should have been put under the scope. At the time I was angry and flat out refused. It has cost me my job because i refused. 1-2 days have passed and i'm realizing i should have just taken the test than given my notice because i probably look guilty anyway. Any comments/suggestions on this topic would be greatly appreciated. Btw, I do not use drugs at all.
