I was under the impression that it wasn't in the scope of practice for an LPN, but here in this Saunders review book, under iv complications it says that the immediate action is to dc and notify the md. Confused! Perhaps it's only for an emergency situation? By the way, I'm taking my nclexpn tomorrow, so reply asap!
