  1. I did west campus and already graduated. You may want to send an email thru canvas to you class and see if anyone wants to create a study group. That helped a lot of us pull thru it.
  2. Very nervous for the LPN class to start. Did anyone else have a reaction to the chickenpox vaccine?
  3. @kt1830 it's the damn teas that kills me. Guess I'm going to take next semester off and learn that teas guide as much as possible.
  4. @Kt1830- I'm right there with you. It was definitely a rough day. Actually thought of just dropping this semester which are the last of my coreqs. We'll get in next time:-)
  5. Crazy is an understatement....lolHoping HowlOScream helps me cope until tomorrow.FYI the lady in admin said we shoul def have our letters tomorrow. I told her if I didn't I would be down there after my mail comes:-)
  6. I'm sorry and I know it wasn't anyone's intention. To tell the truth that thought did cross my mind and I guess hearing someone else think it too stressed me even more. My apologies MW2012 and congrats on ring accepted. I did call admin and spoke to an awesome lady that assured me that wasn't how the letters were mailed out. I was told that half the letters went out in the morning of the 9th and the other half in the afternoon. I believe her as she put me on hold for a long time to find out the answer. Hopeful Amanda crossing my fingers and toes for us:-)
  7. I certainly hope that acceptance letters didn't go out before denial letters. Don't believe that they do and I think saying that just stressed a lot of people out more than they already have been.
  8. I heard that schedule too from a counselor as well.
  9. Well the other reason not to go to Rasmussen is cuz the credits won't transfer to a BSN just in case u want to further ur education. I know someone last time around that got into the LPN with a score of 68%, don't stress out:-)
  10. I'm 43 divorced with a 13 yr old daughter. I started school in jan 2011 due to a laid off. I have since lost my home so we will be moving in with relatives this month. Luckily I have a wonderful and supportive family. I want to be in this program so much so that I can start a career in something I've always wanted to do. Also so I can be back on my feet and show my daughter how important education is. The hardest part about this program is going to be having to work when u know u have so much studying to do. Not having enough hours in the day will be tough, but we will do it!!!!!
  11. Friend of mine asked the Dean of Nursing if letters went out & the answer was no, mailing mid- month. Apparently admin is clueless.
  12. I am hoping to work in hospice. I've wanted to do this since 1996 & finally had the opportunity to go back to school. I'm afraid if I don't make it I don't know what to do with my life. I have no backup plan and feel like I'm too old to keep trying to get in. Sorry to ramble on, just really nervous.
  13. I don't think it's so much of a secret as it is that the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing. I believe admin just says what they are told to say.
  14. Either way we're going to get a letter so we can only wish for the best.No one asked my name and I dialed admin directly. The other ext u listed was busy. I was told by someone that went in to the admin office that they started mailing them. Only hearsay so we'll just have to wait:-)Best of luck to everyone!
