I am a House Supervisor in a 200 bed hospital in NorthEastern Penna. I also work evening shift. We average 75%to90% occupancy with 26 critical care beds. We are required to be MSN prepared with ACLS,trauma, CPR, and field specilaties ie:CCRN, CEN,etc. In addition to rounds on 10 nursing units, we provide crisis management for familes/patients/staff. We are designated requestors for organ recovery and are acting hospital administration. We are required to participate on nursing committees and most have a 'pet' QI project. Since this is a teaching hospital we interact constantly with the house staff.(Residents) Salary range is based on years of experience, starting is in the low $20s to upper $30s.
