  1. Please, I need your input, today I received my first phone call from my advisor, according to him he was going to evaluate my records from my LPN, back in 1990 out of NY, took the MCC LPN refresher course but I don't think this credits will make a difference, I did a lot med-surg, critical care experience in the past training offered by my employers, but as a single parent never considered to go back to school until now that everything is falling apart a relationship of 17 years, got marry in Jan for nothing, now separated, laid off by employer of 3 years, almost in the verge of having issues paying basic needs, not enough hours via registry not able to cover basic needs. I will continue to fulfill my goal nursing is a rewarding experience especially hospice care. Please advice me if I should continue with uop. Sincerely, Gladiola
  2. Don't get discouraged, I was laid off but as a LPN I see RN jobs available, I think is harder finding jobs but don't give up, I took a refresher course online, Mohave college, give it a try.
  3. i feel you, i was laid off recently, lpn for almost 15 years love hospice, but not able o find full time work as a lpn, need guidance regarding school, can someone out there share another option lpn to rn with a positive experience? i learned a lot from different sources, training but hospice is rewarding, i have issues with the economy, for the first time i feel we are affected, health care overall is affected, help!
